Dear Colleagues,
The specific anatomy with its spatial confines and close topographic vicinity to vital structures explains the special status of the orbit and its pathology within ophthalmology.
Newly described clinical entities, improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches and refined surgical techniques require constant updating and interdisciplinary discussion. This year we want to focus on surgical vs. pharmacological treatment of Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) and the endoscopic approach to the orbit.
Renowned specialists from Ophthalmology, Radiology, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery and Otorhinolaryngology will focus on highly relevant orbital issues. The symposium addresses young and advanced colleagues of all involved disciplines. There will be time for Q&A, interactive discussions, and case presentations.
We cordially invite you to our 12th MUNICH INTERNATIONAL ORBITA SYMPOSIUM 2025 on October 30 – 31, 2025.
All members of our Plastic-Reconstructive Eyelid and Orbital Surgery unit at the University Eye Hospital LMU are looking forward to your participation and wish you an interesting symposium with stimulating discussions.
